ATTENTION ALL UNCLES... Our Belle's "SWEET 16" is right around the corner!

 

In about another week, our debate-winning, vintage clothes-shopping, soccer-scoring, guitar-playing, python-coding, selfie-snapping, youth AI-leading, junk food-eating, all-around fun-loving Belle is going to be hitting a major milestone - turning 16!!!

 

We can hardly believe that the prospect of driving is upon us because moments ago she was on a trike with handlebar tassles and baby doll, Susie, in tow. These years have flown so fast thanks to an endless wave of the markers many of you know all too well with children of your own: countless family outings, academic pursuits, athletic contests, personal breakthroughs and extracurricular engagements.

 

It's great to take a second to appreciate where Belle is. She is an ebullient, confident, mature young woman who is settling beautifully into varying levels of awareness, and using her own voice, speaking her own mind, and fully comfortable in her own skin. No small feat. We thank each and every one of you for all the support and input that have helped our kid get to this pivotal plateau in solid fashion.
