Our Beautiful Rett Was Taken Too Soon: Help Lay Her to Rest & Support Her Babies

Yesterday, our lives were forever changed by a tragedy that no family, friend, or child should ever have to experience.

Our beautiful Rett was brutally taken from this world in the one place she should have felt safe — her own home. Her life was tragically cut short in an act of domestic violence involving the person who was supposed to love and protect her.

But the most heartbreaking part of this tragedy is that her two young children are now left without their mother.

These babies did not just lose their mom. They lost the person who was supposed to be there for every birthday, every holiday, every milestone, and every moment they needed her. They will never again hear her voice, feel her hugs, or have the comfort of knowing Mommy is coming home.

No child should have to experience this kind of loss, and no family should have to face something this unimaginable alone.

Right now, we are asking our community, friends, family, and anyone with a compassionate heart to come together and help us through this tragedy.

Our goal is to raise $15,000 to give our beautiful Rett the proper funeral and final goodbye she deserves. Her life mattered. She was loved, and we want to honor her memory with dignity, surrounded by the people who cared about her.

Any additional funds raised beyond the cost of her funeral arrangements will go toward helping support the two precious children she leaves behind. While nothing can replace their mother or take away the pain of losing her, we hope to provide some comfort, stability, and assistance as they face life without her.
