It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of our beloved friend, Rafael “Raff,” who died suddenly earlier this month in Amsterdam. Raff was a bright, kind, and spirited soul who touched the lives of so many with his warmth, laughter, and genuine heart.

To me, Raff was more than a friend — he was my adopted brother. He was the most important person in my brother’s life and lived with our family for several years, becoming an irreplaceable part of our lives. His unexpected passing has left a deep void in all of us who knew and loved him.

We are now doing everything we can to return his body to his grieving family in Brazil, so they can say their final goodbyes and lay him to rest with the dignity and love he so greatly deserved.

The costs involved in repatriating a loved one are significant and time-sensitive. We are seeking support from friends, family, and anyone moved by Raff’s story to help us cover:

All monies raised will go directly to Raff’s mother, Odete, and any additional funds will be used to support his beloved nephews, whom he absolutely adored.
