Our beautiful Cocoa Teresa Valencia

Hello Friends and Family. My name is Michelle and I am Teresa Valencia’s granddaughter. I am making this GoFund me account for her and to help us with expenses .

In October 2022 Teresa (Cocoa) started going through a lot of different pains. We had her checked and we found out in that same month October 2022 that she had Colon Cancer and it was stage 4. After multiple weekly doctor’s appointments of radiation, chemo treatments, CT Scans, MRIs and so much more Feb 02, 2022 Teresa’s body hit a huge turn. We took her into Gresham Mt, Hood Legacy Medical Center. She was suppose to start physical therapy at one point, we were told at different times that she was going to go home in a few days, and her time with was at least three more months. The cancer became even more aggressive and the dates of life became fewer and fewer. She was suppose to start hospice but Unfortunately she didn’t make it and her last time with us was today 9:16am 02/23/23. This GoFund me is for my Grandmother’s Cremation, for her to receive a plaque, and for a small Celebration of Life gathering at Lincoln Memorial Park and funeral. The funds will also go towards her bills and for medical expenses. Teresa did not have Life Insurance and did not make it to receive any Medicaid.
