Our beautiful and loving Deb‘s cancer battle No 3
Debbie Etherton is a beautiful, precious and gentle person, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
She is about to start her third battle with this cancer. Deb was first diagnosed in 2011, after removing a lump and lymph nodes and undergoing Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy. The cancer came back within 3 years. Again she went into battle, she underwent a mastectomy in 2014. Tomoxifen as her treatment, she got on with life.
In June 2020, at the beginning of stage 3 easing of restrictions of Covid-19, life took a sudden turn. Deb underwent testing this time to learn that there was excessive fluid in the lungs and a shadow on her liver. She then had to have a bone scan. The results were stage 4 breast cancer, in her bones. This is affecting her pelvic area and left femur.
As friends and family of Debbie you would know that she doesn't ask anyone for help. She's always been there helping her family and friends, never expecting anything in return.
I'm going to ask you to help in any way you can, if you feel you can. Debbie will need to move closer to support and more than ever she needs our help. I have known Debbie for 31 years and I love her as a friend and sister.
It's been a massive decision to choose the chemotherapy road. As a collective we want to encourage and support Deb as much as we can. I want Deb to feel encouraged, empowered, motivated, blessed and loved. Knowing she has family and friends full support. We do not want her to be worrying about financial stress.
We hope this donation will give Deb the gift of time with her friends and family and an opportunity to create more memories. This will also reduce the financial burden that she is feeling. Deb will not be going to work in her business and the bills are still continuous.
Thank you. Michelle West 0418 55 79 20.
