Our battle with Brain Cancer and Amputation

Our family has experienced tremendous tragedies over the last year and a half, and we are reaching out to anyone who would be able to listen to our story and help our family through these troublesome, hard times.
Last year I underwent an amputation on my left leg plus two revision surgeries, rendering me disabled for life. Through it all, my husband Jamil Joyner never left my side. Not more than a few months later Jamil had a tragic seizure and was diagnosed with Grade 4 Brain Cancer- Glioblastoma. The same brain cancer as John McCain and Joe Biden's son. This cancer is terminal and Jamil will soon lose his battle with the most aggressive brain cancer there is.

Jamil underwent Brain surgery in January of this year to remove a
massive tumor, and within those short months, his tumor has already grown back. In addition, more tumors have formed, divided and are reproducing at a rapid rate, rendering more surgery or Chemo/Radiation therapy ineffective and would at this point do more harm than good. His doctors have advised that there is nothing else we can do to help Jamil fight this deadly disease. Comfort of care is all we can provide him and we are cherishing the short time we have left with him. We are numb and trying to make it day by day. Jamil is no longer able to communicate with us or even remember our names, but by the grace of God, he is not in pain.
With the sudden loss of income, our three children and I, the youngest 6 (has autism & ADHD), are currently living in a hotel trying to find an apartment and need funds for a security deposit, rent , existing bills and transportation to see Jamil in his assisted living facility. We have lost everything. Our apartment, furniture, car and life with Jamil. I had to take Short Term Disability from my job and as such, I have no income coming in until my claim can be finalized.

We love Jamil very, very much and this is extremely hard on our children, Dayshia 20, Jabari 17, and the love of his life his baby girl Laila 6.
