Hello, we are a small family business called the Handmade Craft House, based in South West Scotland.

We have recently been the victims of a phishing scam. The thieves emptied our bank account, along with some savings. For us this is a disastrous start to 2026.

Our family business consists of myself (Mike), my wife Gail, my daughter and son-in-law Gemma & Tim and my two grandsons Joe & Ben.

For the last fifteen years we have been steadily working away building up a reputation for beautiful and original handcrafted work, using natural materials and traditional techniques.

Our busiest time of year is the run up to Christmas, providing funds for wages, bills and the growth of the business in the year to come. So, as we are now in the quietest time of the year, this theft is keenly felt.

As a family we are totally dependant on what comes through the sale of our work and we pride ourselves on the quality and care that goes into every piece that we hand craft.
