Our baby Belle needs help

We found Belle when she was only around 5 weeks old and my kids have spent every second loving her ever since. Chacha and Noah have raised her like their own child, teaching her how to balance food on her nose until she gets the ok signal to eat the treat, taking her on countless trips to the beach, the mountains, hikes, parties with friends and neighbors and family. She’s the sweetest little thing who is loved deeply. Unfortunately, shes in the pet ER in Monterey with an unknown blockage that is making it almost impossible for her to pee. This all started last Sunday with what was a seemingly simple visit but has become a much more complex issue than they thought. As you can imagine, it’s been a roller coaster of emotions and stressful for everyone. Adding to the emotional stress of the situation is the financial stress that is mounting too fast for us to keep up. The kids have used all of their savings, borrowed what they could, and are still not quite out of the woods, yet. All week long we’ve been weighing out the options and trying to do what’s best for Belle, considering her quality of life as she’s going through all of the pain from the blockage, the stress of the treatment and being in a strange place. Even with such good care it’s hard on her. But today the vet is hopeful that her prognosis is looking better than we thought before the ultrasound so we’re faced with the tough decision of moving forward with possible surgery to remove the blockage or having to euthanize her because the bill has gotten so high. This is a brutal choice to make but it’s the reality right now. So I decided to start this fundraiser, hoping to get help to relieve some of the financial burden and open up the options to save Belle’s life. Bottom line, she cannot live without the ability to urinate and she won’t be able to pee without further treatment. If you’re able to contribute anything, we would be eternally grateful.
