Our Aunt's condition is serious, waiting is difficult

Donation protected
Our family has been through so much this year.

We lost our beloved brother last month. The grief is still fresh. We are still learning how to live without him.

And now, our aunt needs us.

It started on an ordinary Thursday.

My aunt Marivic began feeling very unwell. She had a severe headache—worse than anything she had ever experienced. At first, we thought it was just a bad headache or a stomach bug.

But her symptoms got worse quickly.

We rushed her to the hospital. The doctors ran tests. What they found changed everything.

She was experiencing a serious and unexpected health crisis.

Specifically, doctors discovered a weak spot in a major blood vessel inside her head. That weak spot had already caused internal bleeding—a very dangerous situation.

Doctors explained that if her condition worsens suddenly, the consequences could be devastating.

The situation became even more complicated.

She developed a severe lung infection. Her body is having difficulty regulating itself. Every day in the hospital is a careful balancing act.

She is currently stable, but barely. The medical team is watching her closely, hour by hour. We sit by her bed, hoping and praying that each day brings her closer to recovery.

She needs a medically necessary hospital procedure.

The doctors have recommended a specialized procedure that will address the weak spot in her blood vessel. This procedure requires expert surgeons and careful post-operative care.

The total cost of her hospital expenses, including the procedure, medications, and hospital stay, is approximately £15,000 (1.5 million Philippine pesos) .

We are an ordinary Filipino family.

We work hard. We save what we can. But no one plans for a crisis like this. Unexpected medical emergencies do not wait until you are financially ready.

We have applied for government assistance through proper channels. But those processes take time. And right now, we cannot afford to wait weeks or months.

We are asking for help because we love her.

Who Our Aunt Is
Marivic is not a case number or a medical file.

She is the aunt who taught us to dream. When everyone else said "stop dreaming," she whispered, "keep going."

She is the one who gave us responsibility—the household chores we hated as teenagers. Looking back, those chores were her way of teaching us independence. She was preparing us for a world she knew would be hard.

She is the laugh at every family gathering. The one who could find humor even when her own world was falling apart inside.

She is a 62-year-old woman with so much life left to live.

We are not ready to lose her. Not after losing our brother just last month.

Where Your Donation Goes
Every donation goes directly to my aunt's medical expenses:

Hospital procedure fees – The specialized operation she needs

Hospital care before and after the procedure – Round-the-clock monitoring by medical staff

Prescribed hospital medications – Including drugs that help stabilize her condition

Medications for her lung infection – To clear the infection so she can have the procedure

Medications to help her body regulate – To keep her stable

Hospital transfer costs – Ambulance and coordination fees to move her to the appropriate facility

No amount is too small. Every single donation adds up to giving her a second chance.

What We Need You to Understand
We are not asking for luxuries. We are not asking for private rooms or special treatment.

We are asking for the bare minimum to keep our aunt alive.

The aunt who taught us to dream. The aunt who gave us independence through chores we hated. The aunt who could laugh even when her own world was falling apart.

She deserves to live.

We Lost Our Brother Last Month
We are still drowning in that grief.

And now we are watching our aunt struggle—not because her body gave up, but because we cannot afford the procedure that could save her.

That is the hardest truth.

Her hospital expenses are £15,000 to the hospital.

To us, she is priceless.

Will You Help Us?
If you can donate, any amount at all, you will be part of giving our aunt a second chance.

If you cannot donate, please share this campaign. Sharing is free, but it is one of the most powerful ways to help us reach people who can donate.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We are doing this out of love for our aunt Marivic.
