My family is DEVASTATED at what has happened to our baby Athena!

When we were visiting with friends, our Athena got attacked by two bigger dogs and as hard as she fought to protect herself they almost managed ripped her arms off. She has had to go for Emergency surgery and will need several more surgeries to save her arms from amputation!

We have to trust in our vet as to what’s best for our Baby. Athena is considered critical and will need to remain in the hospital until the doctors feel she is out of the woods. She is currently receiving extensive treatment and will have a long road to recovery, as well as extensive aftercare.

Athena is our baby and we love her beyond words can ever express. We have had Athena in our lives since she was born and she has given us nothing but unconditional love! We could never even think of not saving her and that being said, I ask you to please reach into your heart and help us SAVE OUR ATHENA

Athena is currently at the VCA in Murrieta California where she is being treated. We included pictures of her current bill which only covers 2 night in the hospital and just one surgery. She will need to remain in the hospital until they feel she is strong enough to come home, she will be back visiting every 1-3 days for weeks to come for her aftercare, and more surgeries to save her arms. The doctors estimated between $20,000-$30,000 for her full recovery.
