Our Angel- Selia Linares (Hernandez)
Donation protected
Losing my mother has been significantly more difficult than we could have ever expected. No amount of strength or mental fortitude could have prepared us for the loss we thought we had braced our hearts for. On February 17, 2025, at just 48 years old, she passed away after a tough battle with end-stage renal disease and a rare condition called calciphylaxis. But in the end, she left on her own terms choosing to come home and spend her final moments surrounded by the family she loved so deeply.
My mother was the heart of our family. She was selfless, full of laughter, and a devoted Christian woman. She was always giving or making sure others were cared for before thinking of herself, offering a meal to anyone in need, and bringing joy to every room she entered. She was the kind of person who never turned her back on anyone and always believed in the good in people.
Her absence leaves an unimaginable void in all our hearts, but we are determined to honor her legacy. We are raising $11,000 toward the total cost of $17,250 for her funeral, burial, and memorial service we want to make her memorial as grand as she would have wanted. Any donation, big or small, will help us give her the farewell she deserves. If you’re unable to give, simply sharing this fundraiser or keeping our family in your prayers would mean the world to us.
Thank you for your love and support during this difficult time.
