Our Ancestors Built the Remedies. I'm Finishing the Work.

I want to ask you something first.
Have you ever sat in a doctor's office, described exactly what was happening to your body, and left with nothing? No answers. No next steps. Just the quiet understanding that they had already decided your pain was not worth investigating? If you're Black, and especially if you're a Black woman, I think you already know what I'm talking about.

WHAT HAPPENED TO ME

I was first diagnosed with fibroids at 25. For 9 years, I managed hemorrhaging periods, escalating pain, and a medical system that kept handing me the same two options: surgery or birth control.
At 34, a kidney infection turned into sepsis while my body was already weakened from blood loss. I could have died. Not from something rare or unpreventable. From being a Black woman in a system that was not built to take us seriously. "I didn't almost die from illness. I almost died from being dismissed for 9 years." Black women in the UK are 4x more likely to die in childbirth. In the US, Black women are 2-3x more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications than white women, regardless of income or education level. 80% of us will develop fibroids by age 50. 75% of medical textbooks contain no imagery of dark skin.
These are not statistics. They are the before and after of what happened to me.

WHY NOW

I am relocating to London to launch Unknown Remedies and host our first community Sanctuary event this June. It is also my 40th birthday. I want to mark it by doing the thing I should have had access to at 25.
This raise covers three things: housing and relocation to London, producing the first Sanctuary event, and launching the Unknown Remedies platform. Every pound goes directly toward getting this off the ground.

WHAT I'M BUILDING

Unknown Remedies is an AI-driven luxury wellness sanctuary built specifically for Black women, men, and children who have been failed by the system that was supposed to protect them.

Our AI doesn't replace your doctor. It does what your doctor never did: it listens, learns your body, and builds a personalized plan rooted in ancestral knowledge and modern science. AI-personalized herbal remedies, plant-based nutrition, fitness, art therapy, and spiritual healing, all built specifically for Black bodies and ancestral wisdom.
This is not a wellness app. This is infrastructure. Built for us, by us, powered by the most advanced AI available, and rooted in knowledge that was always ours.

High-end healthcare should not be a luxury. It should be a birthright.
I spent Christmas Day in a hospital bed, scared, weak, and completely alone. I left unheard. That feeling is why Unknown Remedies exists.
We are done asking to be included. We are building our own Sanctuary.
