Our Amazing father,"Sedgie"needs your help fighting Cancer

Our incredible dad, Robert "SEDGIE" Sedgwick, is the strongest man we know. He's a loving husband, a devoted father, and a cherished friend to many. But for Sedge, health, fitness, and particularly Tai Chi, are more than just hobbies – they are the very essence of who he is. It's the blood that flows through his veins, his life's love and passion. He has dedicated himself to educating and helping others better their lives through healthy living, often sharing the gentle power and benefits of Tai Chi. He’s always been there for us, offering a helping hand, a listening ear, and endless love and support. Now, our rock is facing the toughest battle of his life: Head and Neck Cancer.

Sedgie is undergoing vigorous chemotherapy and radiation treatments that have unfortunately taken a significant toll on his body. The treatments have left his voice raspy and weak, his mind occasionally foggy, and have created painful sores in his throat, making eating and even speaking incredibly difficult. These challenges impact not only his physical well-being but also his ability to pursue his passion for health, fitness, and Tai Chi, and to continue helping others. Despite these immense physical and mental obstacles, Robert faces each day with incredible bravery and determination, holding onto the hope of regaining his strength, voice, and the ability to once again practice and share the art of Tai Chi.

Unfortunately, this difficult journey has also brought significant financial hardship. While Sedgie focuses all his energy on recovery, the bills have unfortunately piled up. We are now three months behind on essential household expenses. Adding to our worries, Sedgie's car, his lifeline for transportation to appointments and errands, has recently been repossessed. We are desperately trying to raise funds to retrieve it before it's sent to auction, which would create even more challenges for his recovery and our ability to care for him and for him to eventually get back to his passions.
