At just 7 weeks old, Aundreanna and Kyle’s newborn baby girl, Ember, has been diagnosed with bacterial meningitis in her brain. Her tiny body has been battling relentless fevers spiking to 104°, then dipping to 95°, and despite every effort, her temperature has not been controlled. She is in the hospital receiving intensive treatment, and her parents are living every parent’s worst nightmare—watching their precious baby fight for her life.

This is Aundreanna’s only baby, and she has been on maternity leave, staying by her daughter’s side day and night. She was planning on returning to work when leave is over in a couple of weeks, but now must stay at the hospital. Kyle is doing everything he can to balance life, caring for his 10-year-old daughter, and be at the hospital with Aundreanna and Ember.... but the strain is overwhelming. With this crisis, the financial burden has become too heavy to carry alone.
