Our 21-year-old son, Dante, has been diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma. What began with enlarged lymph nodes led to scans, bloodwork, a biopsy, and now a cancer diagnosis.

We are grateful that Hodgkin lymphoma is highly treatable and that his doctors are optimistic, but the next several months will still be difficult.

Dante is expected to undergo about six months of treatment, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy, along with frequent oncology appointments, scans, medications, and ongoing medical care. These treatments will also make it difficult for him to continue working his normal hours.

Dante has always worked and supported himself, but right now his only job needs to be focusing on healing and getting through treatment.
