Our 2 year old Bernedoodle, Lettie Jo!

Okay, here goes....

My friends and family, it with a heavy heart and a torn mind that I write this, as I am not comfortable doing this sort of thing.

Our 2 year old pup, Lettie Jo, has gotten herself in trouble. Wednesday night she ate 2/3 of a dish towel and has not been able to pass it since. We tried everything. This morning we were able to get her to her veterinarian and he has done x-rays that show blockage in her colon. They've got her on IV fluids and they're giving her laxatives to see if it helps, but says he'll still perform surgery to be sure it is completely removed without damage to her colon. He's concerned about tearing and internal bleeding.

As you fur baby parents all know, vet bills aren't cheap, and most do not accept payments. With that being said, Kelley and I, along with our four kids are asking for your help. The doctor quoted us $2000-$3000 for her surgery and aftercare, and well, we just don't have it. We've already given them a grand for a deposit and we're willing to neglect our bills just to pay for her care, but we can't survive and pay the vet bill. We just aren't sure what we're looking at until the final bill comes in tomorrow. After her surgery. I will post updated pictures to show the total bill.

If you would be so kind, my family and I would be more than grateful for your donation. Lettie Jo has been with us for 2 years now and has so much life yet to live. She's a best friend to us all. She loves it out here on the farm and we just can't imagine life here without her anymore.

It breaks my heart to have to see her in this condition. It breaks my heart to have to ask for your help. Please, do what you can do, if even a dollar.
