Otto is an incredibly silly and sweet kitten, currently about 10 months old. He was adopted in 2024 by a loving family. One day, his family noticed that Otto was experiencing problems breathing and brought him in to get veterinary care. After thorough examination, the vet diagnosed Otto with lung lobe torsion (AKA, a "twisted lung"). This condition is extremely rare in cats.
Otto was sent in to have surgery to have the affected lung corrected. Thankfully, he made it through the surgery and recovered well! He is expected to live a full and comfortable life.
This life-saving surgery did come with quite a cost, however. All funds raised will help Otto's family. We appreciate all donations of any amount and your help to spread the word about Otto's story. Thank you!
