Otter the cat needs help with medical debt

Otter is a shorthair black cat who is 6, about to turn 7. Otter found his way into my life when he followed some strangers into a rehearsal building, and they approached my friend and I in the hallway looking for someone to take him in. After the friend couldn’t care for him anymore, I took him home and have been inseparable ever since.
During the summer of 2021, Otter began to lose weight at a concerning rate. I first thought it was due to bullying from the other cat in our home, but soon discovered the condition got worse. He went from 10 pounds, to 7, to 6. After an ultrasound discovery enlarged small intestinal walls, a biopsy surgery was needed to pinpoint the issue for long term care. The cost was impossible to pay for, but I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t try to save his life.
He’s my child. He cries when I leave the house. He’s tattooed on my arm. I’ve printed him on band shirts. He is my everything. Anything to help cover his emergency medical expenses would mean the world to me and ensure his long term care for a healthy and happy life.
