Otter is fighting FIP
Donation protected
Otter was adopted several weeks ago. Very shortly after adoption she became sick and her new family did their best along with their vet to determine what was going on.
Short story-
The owners reacted out to us to return her in hopes we could help. Upon arrival to Otter's former foster mom Ashley, it was quickly suspected Otter could have FIP.
Bloat , squishy belly, yellow skin coloring, extreme loss of weight, dehydrated and lethargic. She was quickly seen at our vet and a diagnosis of wet and neurological , FIP was confirmed by blood work.
The owner did help with her start up treatment but since has decided to give her up and not take her home after recovery. We are not judging them at all. They did the best they could. FIP is extremely draining, emotional, psychologically and financially.
We now must fight this battle alone with our new FIP warrior.
Will you join us ? We need a few things to continue this fight for her life. Her current needs are 3 more weeks of medication
$126 . She needs a total of 84 days of meds. She also is due for her second blood drawn so we can see how her organs are now doing since we started her journey.
Please join us. Otter definitely isn't ready to give up. Please join team Otter.
Thank you so much
