Otisco Bakery is a small-town bakery in the heart of Smyrna, Michigan. They specialize in freshly baked loaves of bread with whole ingredients. No mixes, no preservatives. They also make cinnamon rolls, cookies, cakes, and endless custom creations for you.
In order to continue to make all of these wholesome and delicious goodies, they KNEAD some DOUGH!!! On January 14th, their oven stopped working. Since then, Joana has had to use random ovens just to provide a fraction of the treats we all love. The demand for their bread is delightfully overwhelming, but they are finding it difficult to meet the community's need without their oven.
The quote for the oven repairs is significant and we're asking the Otisco fans to give back some of the love the bakery has given to our hearts and bellies over the years. COVID continues to have a massive impact on small businesses around the state, and your local small bakery needs your help.
Karlene and Joana have put their souls into Smyrna in so many more ways than just the carbs. We as members of the community have started this Go Fund Me to relieve some of the financial stress this set back has caused. Give yourself some good karma while supporting local business.
