Otis: The Good Boy

Donation protected
Hi Everyone,

As some of you know, on the evening of Sunday June 28th, someone decided to dump their (handsome) pup in my yard. He was dirty, terrified, hungry and alone... but he got ditched at the right home! He had a collar on but no tag. Took him for a chip scan the following morning, and he does not have one.

I have named him Otis and he's a VERY GOOD BOY. Literally, the sweetest most lovable boy that I've ever met. He's perfect. Vet thinks he's about 10-12 months and likely an English Bulldog/Pitbull mix.

I've spent these weeks getting him cleaned, fed, vaccinated, and loved.  As many of you know, a new dog means a lot of costs, and unfortunately I'm not in a position to be able to cover all these costs right now.

Many of you have reached out offering to help financially, which means the world to me. So here I am, creating my first GoFundMe to help with baby boy Otis. I've included a list below of what the funds will be used for. Some costs I've already come out of pocket on m, and the remaining funds will be used over the next few weeks.

- Dog Supplies: bed, food, crate, toys, harness/collar/leash, tags etc.
- Dog Groomers: (Took Place 6/30/20) - Please see before & after photo.
- Vet Visit #1 (Took place 7/1/20): Physical Exam, Round 1 of vaccinations, bloodwork panel, fecal test, heart worm test, flea/tick/heart worm medicine)
- Medications Round 1: Tested positive for Giardia.
- Vet Visit #2 (Occurring 7/3/20): Chip Implant, Neuter Surgery + Post Surgery Medications
- Vet Visit #3 (Occurring 7/15/20): Stitches removed. Second fecal test to check Giardia status.
- Vet Visit #4 (Occurring 7/20/20): Round 2 of vaccinations.
- Vet Visit #5 (Occurring 8/1/20): Final Round of vaccinations.

Otis is really one of the most amazing dogs. He's so smart, sweet and loves humans and other dogs. I can't wait to see what his new life brings him, and any help I can get to make that happen would be so appreciated!

This guy is gonna live a good life! Thank you in advance for contributing, it really means the world to us!

Please note: If there is any money leftover after all of Otis' vet visits and neuter surgery, I will be donating it to Pawsitive Change Prison Program which is a non-profit set up through www.MarleysMutts.org.  Pawsitive Change Prison Program is an innovative and progressive program that pairs incarcerated men with rescued dogs for mutual rehabilitation. More info can be found here: https://www.marleysmutts.org/pawsitivechange/

Thank you.
