Otis the golden doodle surgery

Otis (standard size golden doodle) is our beloved family dog who will be turning 2 in a week. He was having bloody stools and lot of throwing up on saturday Nov 10th. The vet did a few diagnostic tests and the X-ray result showed that he had an obstruction in his intestine. He needed surgery to remove it. The surgery itself cost us  $4800. A sock is what they found blocking his intestine. We want him home for his 2nd birthday so any contribution big or small is so much greatly appreciated.
