Hi, I'm Jim. I have given to GoFundMe's before, but this is my first time creating one.

Briefly, my 2 year old puppy Otis has to get TPLO surgery on his back

left knee. It scheduled soon at a great vet in the Mission. He had to get similar surgery last year, as his build and breed are prone to

it.

While I have insurance for him, we are need financial help covering

some of the costs of surgery and recovery.

Many of you will know us, and know that since I got Otis from the

SPCA 2 years ago he has been a constant in my life. He has become a

best friend, a source of strength and a natural "cure all" for my

depression. We love to walk here in SF at least 2X a day, especially at

the beach and dog parks.

Those of you that have dogs will understand, he provides a unique

kind of love that is now so important in my daily living.
