Hi Friends and Family,

I am so heartbroken to report that Otis (aka Fat Louie) has had an accident and severed a tendon in his leg. Our gentle giant weighs 23 lbs and made the mistake of jumping on a glass table which shattered, resulting in critical injuries. I am out of town and have been receiving updates from the emergency vet, but it seems like right now the priority is to address his severed tendon as it is life threatening. We will do anything to save our beautiful boy, including trying to navigate the financial barrier that comes with emergency vet hospitals. No one wants to choose between their furry family member and an insane vet bill, but unfortunately it’s a reality that we’ve come to face. It’s been a long year of transition and I could not have done it without the unconditional love and companionship from my sweet Otis. Please helps us give him the medical care he needs to come home. Anything is deeply appreciated by our family. Help us save Otis ❤️
