Hi, my name is Otis and my dog’s name is Audie Murphy. I’m an ARMY Veteran currently living in San Antonio. I’m trying to raise some funding so that me and my service dog can make it to Homestead, Florida, because they have a place set up there for Veterans to live and they also help the Veterans with continuation in their recovery and sobriety. That’s exactly what I need at this time in my life! Things have NOT been easy whatsoever, but I somehow continue to fight through whatever gets thrown at me. I want to go to Florida so I can start my new life over, clean and sober, and I know that being around Veterans will help with that tremendously! I have just gotten out of a treatment center that helps with both mental health issues and substance abuse issues, and I want to be able to go to Homestead, Florida with my service dog to continue my recovery journey. I would appreciate any kind of help, because it gets me one step closer to getting my life back. Thank you!
