Junior Romay The Life Changing Recovery

My Name is Karlita The Wife & Mother of our children of Osvaldo Romay Jr. He was in a very serious car accident in the early morning of January 9th, 2020. What a way to start of the New Year, Junior was a passenger of the car when the driver lost control of the vehicle as a result, the driver struck into several trees, causing the car to crash in half, totaling it. Upon impact, Junior was stuck inside the car as he was screaming for help, as if he was left to die. Thank god for the paramedics they arrived quickly, having to cut down several trees and cut open the passenger door to get to junior out. During that process he then lost conscious from losing so much blood and circulation in his right leg due to having the front end of the vehicle smashed against his lower body. Sustaining severe injuries all over; He had a concussion, suffered a broken nose, deep cuts on both hands, bruising all over his right side, injuring his right testicle, massive leg wounds, accommodated with his right leg being broken into 3 from the femur, patella, and ankle. Junior was immediately rushed to the Hospital into ER trauma to the OR surgery room then into the CCU. The doctors wasted no time, immediately rushing him into surgery that included the doctors to have to then put a titanium rod into the femur from his knee cap with about 6 screws and wiring into his patella and fractured ankle let alone already having to put staples and stitches all over his right leg and wounds beforehand. He is currently in critical care with 40% chance of walking, having to use a wheelchair due to the serious critical condition he is in.


Junior is an entrepreneur a hardworking man, he is the provider of our family and which he is also self-employed that comes with little to no health insurance to cover anything. This is the very beginning of a very long road ahead of us, physically & financially. Any monetary donation matters, and every dollar received will be humbly accepted with grace.


I understand that not everyone is in a financial position to help. Just know that every dollar and every single person this is shared with will make a difference. We are asking for donation to help cover of time medical bills, Transportation due to him not being able to drive, In home physical therapy, House bills, time off work to care give him & any future interventions needed, As it may be possible he would need to get another surgery if swelling doesn’t go down to cut him open again. Therefore, he will not be able to provide for a good year or more for himself and family due to this horrible tragedy.


Junior a goodhearted person, loving Husband and an amazing Father of our two little boys Ozzy 3, and Aj 2 years old which brings them 9 months apart. This is just very sad because every weekend we take our boys out to the park to play soccer, baseball and just run around with them, have fun, laugh and enjoy life. After all the best part is, we then take our boys to get ice cream right after. It’s heartbreaking for our children to go through this at a young age, let alone must hear about their father this way, our boys are constantly asking me is dada coming home. Can he play with us or Call dada so we can go to the park? I tell you this much, it won’t be the same, but I pray for the faith and strengthen. He needs all our love and support, positive energy and prayers right now. He is a fighter. Please keep him and our family in your heart and share his story he needs us.
