The Oswego State Club Roller Hockey team has been competing in Division 2 of the Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association, against colleges from all across the country since it's inaugural 2010-2011 season. Despite not having a coach or a practice facility, the Lakers have made it back to Nationals for the second time in program history. 
Nationals will be held in Fargo, North Dakota this year and the Lakers will be looking to build off what has been statistically their best season in Division 2. After a 5-6 start to the season, the team was able to bounce back and post a 6-3 record in the second half of the season. The Lakers only losses came to nationally ranked teams in #1 Northeastern, #2 East Carolina University, and #10 Stony Brook University.
