Who We Are:
We are Landscape Architecture undergraduate and graduate students in the Student Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (SCASLA) at The Ohio State University. Our mission with SCASLA is to help connect fellow LA students with professionals, extracurricular activities, and refinement of professional skills.
The Backstory:
Every year, SCASLA members take a trip to LABASH (a national, student-run, Landscape Architecture conference with keynote lectures, educational sessions, panels, workshops, and social gatherings). This year we've had an unprecedented number of sign-ups: 31 students are registered! We are so excited to offer these OSU students with the opportunity to benefit their future as Landscape Architects. However, with this incredible number of sign-ups, we need your help funding our trip.
The Costs:
SCASLA asks that students pay for their individual conference ticket, and as a way to make this educational opportunity possible, we cover costs of transportation and lodging. Since we have so many interested students, we need an additional $850 to cover the 3 nights in hotels and $150 to cover car transportation from Columbus, OH to Ithica, NY. Any surplus funds will go to the 2021 LABASH trip.
