Osteria Vespa is a small family owned restaurant in downtown Amherst, MA. We have been serving up delicious Italian and mediterranean food and craft cocktails for the past five years. We love our regulars, our community, and our fellow industry people. We take great pride in our business and are deeply saddened that we are temporarily unable to serve you, our community in the face of our current events. 


The impact of COVID-19 and the shuttering of restaurants has deeply impacted our business, as it has with so many in our industry. We hope to be able to keep our staff employed and paid but in order to do so we need your help, as they rely on us being open for their income. We value our employees and their livelihoods and consider them family. This Gofundme will first and foremost go towards keeping our staff financially well as they are the backbone of this business. Any other funds will go towards covering all other costs that loans and relief cannot cover when we do reopen our doors. 


We at Vespa are so looking forward to serving you again when we are able. We miss seeing our regulars, sharing delicious food and drink with you and spending joyous moments together. It becomes clear to us as we watch the days pass how important our community is and how much we value gathering and sharing the intimacy of dining together.
