Osteosarcoma. Alex Perry's Journey.
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Jenilee. I am starting this fundraiser for my nephew Alex Perry and his family.
My nephew Alex was diagnosed with stage 3 osteosarcoma last year. He was fourteen years old. He fought through chemo as well as learned to walk again, after losing his leg, due to the osteosarcoma.
Alex finished chemotherapy and we said, "he beat it!" We couldn't have received better news!
Alex went for his scans as scheduled. However, this most recent scan was not what we were hoping for.
Alex Perry now has two tumors in his lung, for which he will need surgery. A tumor on his rib, a tumor pressing against his optic nerve preventing him from having vision in one eye, as well other tumors on his head which were found before the radiation treatment he didn't receive because of these scan results.
I am asking for help in any way possible. Anything that you can afford. The money that could have been wasted on a Dunkin Donuts coffee, when you weren't sure if you wanted it anyway. Will help a family of seven, survive!
I'm not great at these types of things, emotions. I hope you've read my brief summary of Alexander Thomas Perry's story. There are so many amazing moments and things about Alex that I don't think I'd have room enough to write them all if I wanted to.
Alex was a perfect baby. He is extremely smart, loving, and thoughtful. Most of all he loves his family. Alex will have a tea party with his three little sisters, and play video games with his younger brother. He is a responsible young man, destined to succeed in whatever he chooses to do in life.
**I need to add that, The Perry's are under an exuberant amount of stress and many other emotions. Understandably so. Therefore please do not comment, or try to reach out to the Perry's directly. You may reach out to me and I promise to relay any and all messages straightaway, to the family.
