Thank you for taking the time to see our page.
Oso, our 6-year-old beloved German Shepherd, suffered extensive damage from a freak accident. On Sunday Oct 15th we received a call that Oso had jumped from my third story apartment window. Thanks to our neighbors who called me and stayed with him while we got home to rush him to the vet. Miraculously Oso survived his fall and after many tests, X-rays, and ultrasounds Oso thankfully has no organ damage. He has however suffered a torn ligament in his knee and has damaged/broken both front paws. Oso is my soul dog and if you know us you know he is truly a light in my life, my adventure buddy, and my children’s protector. We have no idea what came over him to jump from the window and up until the accident, I could’ve sworn it could never happen to us. As a single mom this financial situation is difficult and costly. His recovery process will be very difficult as he will not be able to walk or use stairs for at least a month after surgery. Anything you can donate would help and we’d be forever grateful. His adventures with us are long from over and we can’t wait to be by his side as we help him recover.
