Hi friends. Our beloved dog Oso was in a horrific accident this week after being hit by a semi truck. The accident caused a severe fracture of his right front leg for which he needs emergency surgery. At this point we're facing an $8000 vet bill, not including his emergency care expenses in Humboldt.

Oso is such a huge part of our family and community after being rescued from a literal garbage heap in Eureka as a puppy. He's a sweet pup that has brought so much joy and love into our lives and the lives of those who know him. He's an otherwise young and healthy dog with very good prospects for recovery.

This has been a huge financial hardship for us, and we're asking for help getting through it all. Any amount you can contribute would be amazing and super appreciated.
