Hello Fellow Canine Lovers,

I am the proud parent of a Cane Corso named Oso, he is approaching 3 Years of Age.

What an Amazing Dog he is. He is not only a Friend, he is a protector of my Family. He is my shadow who will not leave me alone no matter what mission life brings.

While playing recently approximately 3 weeks ago (Mid May 25) noticed a egg shaped boil on the right rear of Oso's heinquarter.

The vet inspected the boil, they withdrew a sample and found it to be blood. Which designates it as a blood boil. They informed me that the price can range anywhere from $1,500 to $4,000 for removal of this blood boil.

Of course cancer is always looming as a potential threat. This is not the immediate concern for my Oso. I'm just looking to expedite the services needed as I can't stand to see my Boy in pain. Once the boil is removed we can then run a pathology report to at least better understand our next course of action.

My Fear is as the Blood Boil grows vs the time needed to acquire funds, he may have a rupture. Which would cause a whole series of other complications for my Oso.

Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated. He is my Additional Son 100%.

6.30.25 Oso Update: The Biopsy results are positive for Cancer. The Veterinary Services feel that if the remaining 20% of the tumor can be taken out by the Oncologist, Oso may have a shot at survival.
