Osnat loses family in terrorist attack

Our friend Osnat Weinberg has been greatly affected by the recent terrible events in Israel. We met Osnat and her family as neighbors in Cupertino, CA, and our families became close friends.

On October 7th during the terrorist attack her sister and brother in-law were murdered. Her nephew is missing and most likely has been kidnapped. Osnat's elderly mom was held hostage with her caregiver by a group of terrorists outside her house, which was destroyed. Her caregiver was found murdered. By some miracle she survived. Her sister's house has been completely burnt to the ground so not only are family members lost, their memories are gone as well. Her mom has now been displaced from her home in the Kibbutz which she helped build. The home is gone and she will go to live with Osnat and family.

The entire family is overwhelmed and heartbroken and experiencing great trauma.

Your contribution will support the immediate financial needs such as mental health care support for Osnat's family, replacement of lost personal items and housing for Osnat's mom.
