It is with the deepest heartbreak that we share the loss of our beautiful daughter, sister, and friend, Osean, who sadly passed away at the age of 23 on 8th March 2026 after a long and courageous battle with lupus.

Many people have kindly asked how they can honour Osean and support our family during this time. If you feel moved to do so, any contribution will go towards giving Osean the beautiful farewell she deserves and celebrating the life she lived and the love she shared with so many.

Osean was truly special. From a very young age, Osean faced the daily challenges of living with lupus. She spent much of her life in and out of hospital, yet through all the pain and difficulty she carried herself with incredible strength and grace. No matter how hard things were, she always managed to keep a smile on her face. Her courage touched everyone around her, including the doctors and nurses who cared for her throughout the years.

Despite everything she was going through, Osean was determined to live as full and normal a life as possible. She went on to work within the NHS, wanting to give back and support others in the same way she had been cared for during her own journey. Helping people and making others feel valued meant so much to her, and it perfectly reflected the kind and compassionate person she was.

Before Osean passed, she found a beautiful peace with God, and that gives us a small sense of comfort during this incredibly painful time. While our hearts are broken here on earth, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit is at peace and that her love, kindness, and light will continue to live on through all of us who were blessed to know her.

Osean was a truly beautiful soul with the kindest heart, and to know her was to love her. She inspired so many people with her bravery, compassion, and positivity. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing her will remember the warmth she brought into every room. She had a special ability to lift people’s spirits and make everyone around her feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Her smile, her perfect dimples, her calm presence, and her gentle nature left a lasting impact on so many lives.

Our hearts are completely shattered without her, and the space she leaves in our family and in the lives of the many friends who loved her can never truly be filled.

More than anything, we are grateful for the love, prayers and kindness that have surrounded our family.
