Oscars top surgery fund

Hello, my name is Oscar and I’m a young trans man from the UK currently fundraising for life changing top surgery.

I have always known I was trans, but lived the majority of my life in fear of it and put all my energy into hiding myself. Recently, with the support of my friends and chosen family, I came out and have been able to become my authentic self. After socially transitioning I looked into getting support from the NHS but due to cuts and the lack of finance the waiting list remains impossibly long.

Luckily I was able to seek private healthcare for my testosterone, and after a couple of months I was able to start my medical transition. Taking testosterone was a massive step; I spent years hating myself, looking for any way to not be here anymore and damaging my body. My transition has saved my life and hopefully with fundraising and support I will be able to continue living as myself.
