Hi, my name is Torie, and I’m raising funds for someone incredibly important to me—Oscar Castano.

Oscar was in a horrific motorcycle accident and is currently in the ICU after enduring multiple surgeries to his femur, spine, and both arms. His injuries are extensive, and his road to recovery will be long, painful, and extremely costly.

To make matters worse, he has no health insurance. The hospital is preparing to discharge him in under 48 hours—even though he still requires critical care. His rehabilitation alone is projected to cost $15,000 every two weeks, and we are simply not equipped to cover these overwhelming expenses.

But Oscar is far more than a patient in a hospital bed—he is:

• A full-time single father to a beautiful autistic son who depends on him daily

• A devoted friend and provider for his extended family in Colombia

• A hardworking, selfless man who has always put others first

Earlier this year, Oscar was the victim of a hit-and-run accident that forced him into financial hardship and made it impossible for him to maintain insurance. Now, this second tragedy has left him completely vulnerable—with no income, no insurance, and no safety net.
