Oscar's fight against Burkitt Lymphoma

Hello,

My name is Brodie Moore, and I'm reaching out to you with a heartfelt request. My close friend's young son, Oscar, is courageously fighting Burkitt Lymphoma. To show my support for Oscar and his family, I will be shaving my head. This small act is my way of standing in solidarity with them during this incredibly tough time.

Burkitt Lymphoma is a rare and aggressive form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma that primarily affects B-cells, a type of white blood cell. This cancer is known for its rapid growth and typically manifests in children and young adults.

I'm raising funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland, an organisation that has been a lifeline for many families like Oscar's. They provide a comforting home away from home for families with sick children receiving treatment at hospitals like Lady Cilento Children's Hospital, Mater Mother's and Children's Hospitals, and the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

Your donations will directly support Ronald McDonald House in continuing their vital work, offering accommodation and care to families in need. This cause is very close to my heart because it ensures that families can stay together and find the support they need during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference. Your generosity will help provide comfort and hope to families like Oscar's. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support.
