Hi, my name is Oscar and I am fundraising for an expedition to Costa Rica. I will be spending my time working along side conservationists to help protect natural environments, learning to scuba dive, and helping local communities.

During the trip I will work along side local trades people to help build community infrastructure. I will be learning to scuba dive and getting to see all the amazing marine life including Sea Turtles. I’ll be helping to do some marine conservation and cleaning up the beaches to protect the local wildlife. I will be working on a number of local environmental projects including protecting the turtles and their ecosystem. During the trip I will get to experience a whole new way of life, spending time with local people and children immersing myself in their culture, customs and traditions as well as trying all the cuisines. Costa Rica is one of the most bio diverse places on the planet and i will get to see Caimans, Sea turtles, tropical fish, Toucans, Sloths, Howler Monkeys, Tapirs to name a few species. This is a trip of a life time! The trip is self funded and I have until May 2027 to raise £5520. I will be doing car boot sales, selling on eBay and doing other sponsored events during this time.
