In loving memory of Oscar Wojtal

On November 16, 2023, Oscar was unexpectedly taken from us at the young age of 22 as a passenger in a tragic car accident. In his short time, he has left behind a legacy of love and service to those around him. Oscar's energy was vibrant. He was keen to make others laugh and was always quick to find the positive in any situation. He had recently graduated from Queen’s University this past spring and gotten a job in his field, and while we were so proud of him, we had no doubt that this was only the beginning of many more accomplishments ahead. While there are no words to help us make sense of this tragedy, it would be an honour for us to keep his legacy alive.

Our family is overwhelmed and grateful for all of the offers of support during this devastating time. If you wish, and in lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to this go fund me. It would mean so much to honour his memory and keep his legacy alive by donating to the organizations closest to his heart. He was a leader in the Polish Scouts Community, where he ran camps and numerous leadership activities for boy scouts. Oscar also volunteered his time at an Animal Shelter, where he fostered and rehabilitated dogs. All contributions will go directly to these initiatives.
