This is Gina Gladis and I am helping set up a GoFundMe page for Oscar Trejo and his family. Please read below from his daughter, Vanessa, his Wife Irma & family.
Hello Everyone, My Father, Oscar Trejo, who has been heavily involved in the Painting, Home Improvement industry for over 25+ years recently suffered a Massive Stroke. He is in Critical Condition and Suffered a Brain Hemorrhage and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Georgetown Hospital. He has been hospitalized since the week before Thanksgiving. I am his eldest daughter, and I had to fly in from out of town to come help and take care of my mother in this time of need. My father, Oscar Trejo is in critical condition and is currently on LIFE - SUPPORT with no current strength of his own, to be able to breathe through his lungs, because of the brain aneurysm, which caused the signals to weaken and not be able to work properly on his own.
My father, Oscar Trejo has been a major part of this community helping build skyscrapers in the 80s, repairing/fixing homes all across Bel Air, Baltimore, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Georgetown DC, & Tysons Corner. He worked very hard to provide for his children, wife & grandchildren. He is a father of three, a grandfather of four and married for over 38 years to my mother, who is now also suffering because of his absence and his weakened state.
My father is battling for his life. I know he can hear us. I sang him, the lullaby that he would sing to me as a child, and his reaction was tears. He felt when my mother's Godbrother touched his hand. He can feel & he can react to touch in minor flinches, but he does not react fully. He has a long road to recovery and battling for his life. He will need to be on Life - Support and will need 24/7 care in a nursing facility. This type of care will cost $12,000 - $15,000 each month. We never thought that we would have to be here on GoFundMe but we are so blessed to have family, friends, and our community with so many people offering to help on this platform in our time of need.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your prayers, love & support. The Trejo Family
