It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Oscar Rene Garcia. At just 36 years old, Oscar bravely fought a challenging battle against Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) for two years. Throughout his journey, he radiated positivity and strength, remaining a beacon of hope for those around him. With unwavering faith, he faced each day with determination, always believing in the light at the end of the tunnel. On September 29, 2025, he was lovingly welcomed into heaven by God, free from pain and surrounded by love. Oscar's life was not without its struggles. Growing up, he faced unimaginable hardships, including the loss of his mother during the pandemic, as well as the absence of his father. Despite these challenges, Oscar demonstrated remarkable resilience and strength, always lifting himself and others around him. He shared a deep bond with his brother and younger sister, and together, they supported each other through the most difficult times. Tragically, Oscar also lost a wonderful maternal figure, who fought her own battle with cancer. Nevertheless, Oscar thrived and created a loving family, leaving behind a bright and beautiful son who adored him. Those who had the privilege of knowing Oscar understood the immense capacity of his heart. His positivity, love for family, and passion for soccer were evident to everyone around him. Processing this sudden loss is incredibly challenging for all of us, but we find solace in knowing that he is now at peace, resting in heaven alongside those he loved so dearly. In honor of Oscar's memory, we kindly ask for your support. Any donations, regardless of size, would be deeply appreciated as we aim to provide Oscar with the dignified farewell he deserves. His last wish was to be laid to rest with his mother in Mexico, and as a family and community, we are dedicated to fulfilling that wish. Con profunda tristeza compartimos la noticia del fallecimiento de nuestro querido Oscar René García. Con solo 36 años, Oscar luchó valientemente una batalla desafiante contra la leucemia mieloide aguda (LMA) durante dos años. A lo largo de su viaje, irradió positividad y fuerza, siendo un faro de esperanza para quienes lo rodeaban. Con fe inquebrantable, afrontaba cada día con determinación, creyendo siempre en la luz al final del túnel. El 29 de septiembre de 2025, fue recibido amorosamente en el cielo por Dios, libre de dolor y rodeado de amor. La vida de Oscar no estuvo exenta de luchas. Al crecer, enfrentó dificultades inimaginables, incluida la pérdida de su madre durante la pandemia, así como la ausencia de su padre. A pesar de estos desafíos, Oscar demostró una notable resistencia y fuerza, siempre levantándose a sí mismo y a los demás a su alrededor.
