Support for the Family of Oscar Obsuna Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Oscar Obsuna Jr., who left us too soon on September 5, 2025, at the age of 43. Oscar was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who touched many lives with his kindness, strength, and spirit.

Oscar proudly served in the United States Coast Guard from 2007 to 2014, earning commendations such as the Coast Guard Achievement Medal and the Commandant’s Letter of Commendation Ribbon. Beyond his service, he was a poet, an automotive enthusiast, and most importantly, a gentle giant with a heart as strong as he was.

As the family prepares for his funeral services, we are asking for your support. In lieu of flowers, contributions to this GoFundMe will help cover funeral expenses and provide financial assistance to his mother, Melania, during this difficult time.

The funeral service for Oscar will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home in Bremerton, Washington.
