Oscar Jaime Trevino

Oscar Jaime Treviño, age 61, of Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Oscar was born in Marysville, California to Martha Treviño and Andres Treviño. At a young age, his family moved to Texas where he met his wife, Maria (Chenty) whom he spent 41 years of marriage. They later went on to have three beautiful children. Oscar was a happy person; he was a jokester and there was very little that could make him upset. He started playing music when he was about 7 or 8 years old. He grew to be known throughout Houston for being a musician, composer, and artist. Music was his passion and throughout the years he gained the love of many people. He was quite talented being that he played nearly every instrument from guitar, drums, bass and his favorite of them all, piano. Most importantly, he loved his family and cherished his friends. Oscar will forever be missed.

Oscar is survived by his wife, Maria Treviño (Chenty); his children Oscar Jaime Treviño Jr (Jeanette Gomez- Treviño), Jenny Marie Treviño, and Kristen Alyssa Treviño; his mother Martha Treviño; his siblings Rosa Irene Duarte, Andres Treviño Jr and Irma Alicia Treviño; his grandchildren Oscar Daniel Treviño, Annalise Kate Treviño and Alessandra Grace Treviño.

Oscar was preceded in death by his father Andres Treviño; his grandson Noah Thomas Treviño.
