We are sad to share that beloved husband, father and dear friend, Oscar Garcia, passed away on Sunday, September 19th, 2021 after a tenacious, brave and exhaustive battle with Brain Cancer.

 

Oscar leaves behind his wife and best friend, Ellie, and their son Theodore, (age 3). As per Ellie's words "My Superman will be flying over all of us from now on. Oscar was a true warrior with the largest, most loving heart. "

Oscar was a true example and inspiration for many of us and would always meet you with the greatest smile regardless of what he was going through.  He completely changed his lifestyle to fight cancer, from ketonic diet, wearing an Optune device, and mixing traditional and alternative approaches.  He touched those he met and his humor and positivity will be truly missed. 

 

Oscar and Ellie fought bravely to extend and enjoy (as much as possible) their limited time together and were blessed by welcoming their son Theo. Their fight included 10 brain surgeries and many chemo/radio therapies over the last 5 years. Ellie was a rock for Oscar while caring and raising Theo, so we are asking for donations to help them off-set medical/funeral costs, and to support Ellie and Theo during these difficult times.
