Oscar Arocha has spent his whole life making others feel valued and welcomed everywhere he went. He raised 6 children, has 2 step children and 5 grandchildren, and after a life of ups and downs, he finally settled in the house of his dreams with his soulmate earlier this year. Shortly after, he received the diagnosis.
He is fighting Stage 4 stomach cancer.
Originally, the cancer was thought to be entirely within a tumor and caught early. After a failed attempt to remove the cancerous tumor, surgeons discovered the cancer had spread.
At this time, he is preparing for the fight of his life. Once he fully recovers from the surgery, he will begin two forms of chemotherapy and holistic practices. He is doing anything and everything to live as long as he possibly can, as many months or years as he is able.
This fight comes at a high cost. Not only is he in need of support mentally, emotionally, and spiritually to combat this ruthless illness, he is in need of financial support. He is expecting to lose the ability to work at some point thus impacting his income and putting his health insurance at risk.
In his final months, we wish for him and his wife to live free from financial terrors . His loved ones are contributing on a monthly basis but we still ask the support of our local communities to join in with what they can.
All donations will go toward paying for medical costs and supplementing any potential loss of income.
