Oscar and Shannon - A Mother and Son's Journey
Donation protected
Oscar Garcia III—son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, and friend—has passed away too soon (30 years old), following the passing of his mother, Shannon Byrd, just a short time ago. The two shared an incredible bond throughout their lives, supporting and caring for each other in ways that showed their deep connection. Oscar was profoundly heartbroken after his mother's passing, as her love and presence had been a cornerstone of his life. We have been trying to cope with these back-to-back heartbreaks, and now we're working to honor both of their lives with the respect and love they deserve.
We are planning a combined memorial service to celebrate and remember them together. While we’ve managed to pay $5,000 to the funeral home, we still have $7,500 left to cover the remaining costs. The financial burden has added to the emotional weight we’re already carrying.
We are reaching out for help from those who might feel moved to support us during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to us and help us bring closure and peace to our family. If you’re unable to contribute financially, sharing this page with others would also be a tremendous help. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering supporting us.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Family of Oscar and Shannon
