Jennifer and Harry "Mickey" Osborn of Blue Hill woke up shortly before 1 a.m. on Thanksgiving to discover their barn was on fire. Despite a swift response from local firefighters, the structure was destroyed. Other parts of the property also were damaged. The windows of their nearby home cracked from the intensity of the heat.

The barn contained Harry's art studio and stored some of their most precious possessions. The art and family mementos aren't replaceable. Still, this money will help pay for expenses incurred after the fire, including an emergency plumbing bill, and tide them over until a resolution is reached with the insurance company.
