Hi, We are the Shunn Family and Osa is our dog! Our veterinarian  has highly recommended entropion eye surgery for her immediately. This is to prevent further damage to her eye and prevent blindness. It is a condition that plagues her breed especially, but is extreme in her case. The $3,000 will go to her surgery in both eyes and recovery. 


Osa came into Gabriel's life 5 years ago while he was living in west oakland with Tony Redman and Jesse Cook. Gabriel and his friend, Tony, were walking and a car pulled up and asked him to hold a puppy. She was so cute and tiny, that they could not give her back. All the man in the car wanted was a cigarette in exchange. Since then she has been a part of Gabriel and Tony's life in the best way. 

Since Tony lives in Portland, Osa lives with Gabriel and the Shunn Family full time. She brings so much joy to our lives every day. We enjoy walks in the Oakland redwoods and going to the Albany Bulb with her sister, Dottie. She also loves socks (clean or dirty), cheese snacks, playing fetch, wading in the river water, and basking in the shade. 

We will be getting the surgery right away and the funds will go towards the payments and medicine. 
This money will mean the world to us because Osa means so much to this family. This surgery will prevent blindness and possibly eye infections in the future. We recently had a child and don't have the savings to cover such an expensive emergency surgery. 

We would be so thankful that we will send gifts for each level of donations. We LOVE Osa so much and would love to improve her quality of life immensely.
