OS 305 CSK Fundraising Challenge

As part of our final project in OS 305: Inside Organizations we are participating in a fundraising challenge to raise money for the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit. The center has been serving Detroit since 1929, providing fresh meals daily, clothing, substance abuse therapy, and bathing facilities to those in need.
CSK provides invaluable services such as:
· 2,000 hot meals a day
· 300,000 pounds of food distributed per month to families
· 30,000 articles of clothing per month
· Over 500 pieces of furniture and appliances to families per month
· Showers and a change of clothing for the homeless and poorly housed individuals
· A 25,000 square foot urban farm project
· A children’s library and art therapy studio serving up to 800 children per month
Our goal is to raise $5,000 for the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in just 7 days. Your contribution will help the CSK give more hope, save more lives, and finish the fight against hunger and poverty in Detroit. Even if you could donate $1 that would be AMAZING!! Thank you!
